A still from The Admissions Game DVD. Filmed January 15th 2010.

I filmed a College Admissions Night Lecture by Dr. Peter Van Buskirk, a former admissions counselor, for the Ward Melville High School Guidance Office. The lecture lasted just over two hours and I cleaned it up so that it would fit on one DVD. Using Compressor and DVD Studio Pro, I created copies of the DVDs for each of the guidance counselors for them to use at their own discretion. Per Dr. Van Buskirk’s allowance the video can not be streamed on the internet, however the video was also divided into six 20-minute parts that were streamed privately on the school district’s website.

This was all done as a volunteer for my school.

New York Arabic Orchestra

I was asked to be one of six camera operators for the New York Arabic Orchestra back in January of 2009. I was positioned on stage right and was the closest camera to the orchestra. The experience was awesome and my footage was included in various promotional videos for the NY Arabic Orchestra. Look for the following shots of mine in the video below at :30 & 1:41 (Saba playing flute) and 2:07 & 2:49 (violins). The videos after the jump are two full-length songs (Nirvana and Longa Riad) from the concert that utilize my footage. The footage was edited by Young Lee of Take One Productions.
